VBS 2011 – “SonQuest Rain Forest”

Vacation Bible School was held July 25 through July 29, with the final program presented during our worship service on Sunday, July 31. This year’s theme was “SonQuest Rain Forest.” During this fun-filled week, the kids went beyond what they can explore with their senses to discover a living spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Note that these photos have been reduced in size to conserve bandwidth; higher-resolution photos and music from this year’s program will be available for download from this page in the near future. The slideshow presented during the closing program on Sunday is also available for download, below.

Medium Resolution

Complete collection archive (519 MB) – This file is an archive (.zip) file which contains the exact same image files as in the online Photo Gallery. These files are in .JPG format and can be displayed or printed as-is or used with various photo-manipulation software. The photos are all 1600 x 1067 pixels, and are watermarked “St Paul Church – VBS 2011″.

A combined ISO file (742 MB) containing both the medium-resolution photo collection, above, and the slideshow, below, is also available.  This disc will play the slideshow in most DVD players and DVD-capable computers, and contains the photos in a separate folder on the disc for access via computer.  Please note that, although the image size is small enough to fit on a CD, it must be recorded onto a DVD in order to be playable on most DVD players.

The same photographs in a higher resolution (nearly four times the size — double the width and double the height — at 3888 x 2592 pixels) will be available here shortly.

Slideshow

DVD ISO image (213 MB) – This file is a disc image file which can be “burned” to a DVD using most DVD recording software. (One such program for Windows-based systems is ImgBurn, available free from www.imgburn.com. Macintosh OSX users can use Disk Utility in the Applications folder.) The resulting disc can be played on most DVD players or DVD-equipped computers. Please note that, although the image size is small enough to fit on a CD, it must be recorded onto a DVD in order to be playable on most DVD players.

Due to copyright and licensing restrictions, the music from the SonQuest Rainforest VBS program is not being made available to the general public. If you were a participant in this program here at St. Paul Church and would like a copy of the music, you may contact us to request a copy.
